«SOUND-MAGICAL-SPACE – S.M.S» is a container for new compositions to be performed at specific concerts with violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja and CAMERATA BERN. They invite composers worldwide to send short samples of their work and the orchestration of the pieces is given and differs from concert to concert. Both the audience and the musicians decided together which piece they liked best and which composer they would like to know better. The public liked all compositions very much and the winner was the work "Canticle" by Mateo Soto.
